He is currently working with IBM India since last 13 years.  He is currently responsible as Delivery Excellence Champion and Program Manager for SAP Basis and Security Practice Support for Cross-Sector Global Accounts.

During his early tenure, he was designated as India Country Competency Leader for Systems Servers and Operations (SSO) Support in year 2004-05 and had also been responsible as ASEAN Application Hosting Leader.

 

He has received continuous acknowledgment from IBM Management as IBM Global Top Talent since Year 2002 onwards. He had also been awarded with various Best Individual Contribution awards to Customer Projects for last 4 consecutive years 2006 – 2009. He has been recipient of various IBM AP Bravo (Best of IBM) Awards till date for his contribution to various IBM Projects.

Role :

  • As SAP Technical Manager, he was responsible to lead a Basis team of around 30+ professionals. The SAP systems in this Project supported by the team country-wide and in Asia Pacific locations, are R/3 and all Multi-dimensional products (i.e. BW, SRM, XI, EP, APO, CFM, etc.)
  • He was instrumental in getting all SAP Applications Migrated from Pune Customer DC to IBM GSDC in Bangalore.
  • He had also been responsible as Data Center Manager in this Project. Data Center team at that time comprises of around 30+ Data Center Associates for operational support across Country.

·         Some of the achievements initiated by Sujoy at Customer site are Optimal Performance Tuning of the R/3 systems, Over 6TB Data Reorganization for minimizing Disk I/o activities, SAP R/3 Data Archiving initiatives and Optimal User Load Balancing.

  • Some other Initiatives taken for SAP related activities were ramp-up for SAP Cryptographic Library on R/3 system and Installation of SAP Content Server on SAPDB 6.3 for DMS Overview.
  • He was supporting India Setup as the Data Center Manager, and had led a team of Five Data Center Associates that includes Two Basis Administrator, one Oracle DBA, one System Administrator and one Data Center Specialist.

·         Some of the achievements initiated by Sujoy at Customer site are Optimal Performance Tuning of the R/3 systems, Disk Reorganization for minimizing Disk I/o activities, SAP R/3 Data Archiving and User Load Balancing. These initiatives had finally resulted in around 53% improvement in SAP System’s Average Response Time for which he had been awarded with special appreciations from IBM & Customer Management Team.
